This is a house with two approaches. One would be best for guests to arrive and the other a quick exist to grab groceries.

It has an air to water underfloor heating system with back up of a wood fire. Just in case. The main heating is via the passive solar design with insulated concrete mass to the interior and well insulated exterior envelope.
